What is a professional aromatherapist?

Aromatherapists are alternative healers who use essential oils to promote healing and wellness. They meet with patients to discuss their symptoms and health goals, and they develop treatment plans based on their needs.

"Aromatherapy is a caring, hands-on therapy which seeks to induce relaxation, to increase energy, to reduce the effects of stress and to restore lost balance to mind, body and soul."

What is holistic aromatherapy?

A holistic aromatherapy treatment aims at treating the whole person, inclusive physical body, mind and soul aspects.

The significance value of aromatherapy is using pharmacological, psychotherapeutic and metaphysical properties of essential oils. A holistic approach focuses on the development of one's wellbeing and is a healing process.

"With the increasing demand for holistic health care and the 'green revolution', the demand for aromatherapy will increase, and hopefully we will reach the point where medical doctors incorporate it into their repertoire. It will become routine for doctors to send culture samples to the pharmacist for testing, and identify the relevant aromatherapy for the patient. The stress-relieving properties associated with aromatherapy make it an indispensable part of health care."
