First Aid and CPR Training are part of the Professional Diploma Syllabus. Participants who passed the examination will receive a first aid certificate (Competence Certificate) recognised globally and valid for (3) three years from the date of examination.

First Aid and CPR Training

Objective

  • Perform Basic Life Support Skill such as CPR & Choking

  • Understand the importance of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to increase survival rate.

  • To preserve life, prevent harm, and promote recovery.

  • Confidently perform specific medical techniques to improve a patient's chances of recovering from a cardiac or loss of breathing incident.

Basic Syllabus

  • Introduction to First Aid

  • Safety and Prevention

  • Soft Tissue Injuries: Wounds, Bleeding and Amputation Injury

  • Bandages and Dressings

  • Shock

  • Basic Patient Assessment

  • Fractures, Muscle and Joint Injuries

  • Head and Spinal Injuries

  • Burns and Scalds Injuries

  • Basic Life Support and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

  • Lifting and Transporting Patients
